At the beginning of every academic year, ITM MBA conducts a one-week induction programme for newly admitted students to help them smoothly adapt to the academic and campus environment.
The programme introduces students to the institution, faculty members, academic system, and various student support services available on campus. Sessions are conducted on important topics such as communication skills, professional etiquette, goal setting, and time management, in addition to providing a bridge program for the problem papers, preparing students for the demands of management education.
The induction programme also includes interactive sessions, group activities, and discussions that encourage students to develop teamwork, interpersonal skills, and self-confidence. Students are also introduced to the various clubs, forums, mentoring systems, and academic opportunities that enrich their learning experience.
ITM MBA organizes a three-day professional outbound training programme at Vagamon for newly admitted students as part of their initial learning experience. The programme is conducted in a natural and inspiring outdoor environment that encourages experiential learning beyond the classroom.
The training includes a variety of team-building activities, adventure-based tasks, leadership exercises, and problem-solving challenges designed and facilitated by professional trainers. These activities help students understand the importance of cooperation, communication, and trust within a team.
The programme also focuses on basic life skills such as decision-making, adaptability, time management, and stress management, which are essential for future managers. By participating in group tasks and outdoor challenges, students learn to step out of their comfort zones and discover their potential.
